Women in
Design-Hampton Roads (WiD-HR) is dedicated to advancing and
supporting professional designers of our community. We inspire one
another's creativity and encourage each other's professional
growth. We unite for mentorship, education, networking, and
advocacy. Together we celebrate the talents and accomplishments of
women designers both past and present and work together towards
advancing our future.
We organize
events once a month based on our core values of education,
inspiration, mentoring, networking and community outreach. Though
rooted in architecture our members are from a diversity of design
profession including interior design, engineering, marketing,
graphic design, landscape design and more. Membership is
free and open to all designers - both men and women.
